⚫︎ Vampire Survivors creator Poncle and Auroch Digital have announced a partnership to create Warhammer Survivors. The game is set to release on Steam in 2026.
Warhammer Survivors Overview
Built on Poncle’s Vampire Survivors engine, Warhammer Survivors is bringing the non-stop, horde-slaying action of the 2022 top-down roguelike to the universes of Warhammer:40,000 and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar.
Iconic weapons, enemies, and environments are present in the game, with players able to play as recognizable heroes from either Warhammer IP. Warhammer Survivors is scheduled for release sometime in 2026 on PC via Steam.

Warhammer Survivors Gameplay
Warhammer Survivors is played from a top-down perspective, with the goal typically being to survive for 30 minutes, depending on the stage. The game features reverse bullet hell mechanics, meaning projectiles are automatically fired directly from the player’s position as hordes of enemies flood the screen.
As each run progresses, enemies become stronger and more aggressive, but players also accrue power-ups and new weapons to combat them. Between runs, players will unlock new weapons and relics that can be played in future runs.
