⚫︎ Developer Masangsoft has announced the return of King’s Raid. They have also revealed 31 new playable characters as the starting lineup for the game’s eventual relaunch.
King's Raid Overview
King’s Raid is a side-scrolling real-time strategy RPG that was first released in September 2016. After nearly 10 years in operation, all servers were shut down in March 2025, with the developers announcing that they were no longer able to continue running the game. However, by popular demand, King’s Raid was picked up by a South Korean publisher and developer called Masangsoft.
This relaunch will bring back almost a decade’s worth of content while addressing a few issues raised by long-time fans of the game, such as difficulties they encountered when raising heroes, skill and character balancing, and an improved Soul Weapon System.
King’s Raid is set to relaunch sometime in 2025 for PC, Android, and iOS.

King's Raid Gameplay
King’s Raid incorporates real-time strategy elements into its combat. Players will have to time the use of their skills and select the best character lineup to dominate battles. All King’s Raid characters have their respective specializations and can cater to various playstyles.
To obtain more heroes, players can pull for them through the game’s gacha system.
