Jurassic World Evolution 3 Overview
Jurassic World Evolution 3 is the third installment in Frontier Developments’ dinosaur-focused construction and management simulation series. It was released on October 21, 2025, across PC (Windows), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. It serves as a direct sequel to Jurassic World Evolution 2. Jeff Goldblum returns to reprise his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm, both in narration and in the game's campaign mode.
After the events of Jurassic World: Dominion, the game places players in the role of a member of the Dinosaur Integration Network, tasked with ethically managing dinosaur conservation and habitats across the globe. The game's campaign spans multiple regions—including Asia (notably Japan), North America, and Europe—with early reveals spotlighting locations in Japan and Malta.
Players can now breed dinosaurs to create families, complete with distinct juvenile variants, and pass inherited traits from parent to offspring. Park customization sees a leap forward through refined tools for terrain shaping—letting you sculpt cliffs, waterfalls, and layered landscapes—and fully modular building design (adjustable walls, windows, color, scale, etc.). . The game also introduces a first-of-its-kind Balloon Tour attraction, which sends park guests on hot-air balloon rides along custom waypoints. Frontier confirms these balloons are impervious to dino attacks, quelling fears about aerial tours in a dinosaur-infested park. As before, the Frontier Workshop enables cross-platform sharing of custom parks, buildings, and enclosures.

Jurassic World Evolution 3 Gameplay
Jurassic World Evolution 3 retains the series’ core structure as a construction and management simulation in which players develop dinosaur-themed parks. Building upon its predecessors, this installment includes over 80 prehistoric species, with more than 70 featuring distinct male, female, and juvenile variants. Players manage dinosaur families, place nests, and foster natural reproduction, with juveniles inheriting traits from their parents.
Terrain editing is more detailed, allowing players to sculpt cliffs, waterfalls, and multi-tiered landscapes. Structures can now be customized modularly—walls, roofs, windows, and finishes are adjustable—and pre-made buildings remain available for streamlined setups. Players can also place attractions, including the newly introduced Balloon Tour: a ride that delivers aerial guest views along customizable flight paths and comes with franchise-themed skins.
