Harvest Moon: Skytree Village or Skytree Village (Harvest Moon SV) is a farming simulation game developed and published by Natsume Inc. Originally released for the Nintendo 3DS in North America on November 8, 2016, and subsequently in Europe and Australia in mid-2017, the game represents Natsume's third independent installment in the Harvest Moon series following their separation from the original developers, Marvelous AQL. In the summer of 2025, Natsume plans to release the "Cozy Bundle" for the Nintendo Switch, which will include both Harvest Moon: Skytree Village and its predecessor, Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley.

Harvest Moon: Skytree Village Gameplay
In Skytree Village, players assume the role of a farmer tasked with reviving a once-thriving land that has become barren due to the diminishing power of the Harvest Goddess. The primary objective is to restore the seven Skytrees to rejuvenate the environment and bring back the Harvest Goddess. Gameplay involves traditional farming activities such as planting and harvesting crops, raising livestock, fishing, and mining.
The game introduces terraforming features, allowing players to modify the landscape by raising and lowering terrain, creating waterways, and customizing their farm layout. Players can choose to play as a male or female character and have the opportunity to build relationships with various bachelors and bachelorettes, eventually starting a family.

Protagonist (Player Character)
The player assumes the role of a young farmer who arrives in Skytree Village with the task of restoring the land. Players can choose to play as either a male or female character and customize their farm while building relationships with the villagers. The protagonist plays a crucial role in reviving the Skytrees, gradually bringing prosperity back to the village.
Jeanne
Jeanne is a kind and knowledgeable herbalist who assists the player throughout their journey. She is deeply connected to the land and possesses extensive knowledge about plants, herbs, and the history of the Skytrees. She also serves as one of the bachelorettes, with a warm and gentle personality that makes her a popular marriage candidate.
Dean
Dean is a hardworking florist who runs the local flower shop. Passionate about horticulture, he takes great pride in his work and is always looking for ways to improve his flower arrangements. Dean has a friendly and down-to-earth personality, making him a well-liked figure in Skytree Village. He is also one of the bachelors available for marriage.
Melanie
Melanie is a fashionable and somewhat sassy young woman who works as a tailor. She designs and sells clothing in the village and takes great pride in her work. Though she can be blunt at times, she has a strong sense of loyalty to those she cares about. She is one of the available bachelorettes.
Harvest Goddess
The Harvest Goddess is the mystical being responsible for maintaining the balance of nature in Skytree Village. However, her power has weakened, leading to the land's decline. She guides the player throughout their journey and gradually regains her strength as the Skytrees are restored.
