Suika Game Planet has players controlling Poppy to drop and match fruits at the center of the planet. Read on to learn how it plays, what it's about, and everything else we know so far.

Suika Game Planet Gameplay
Suika Game Planet has players dropping fruits at the center of a planet. By colliding matching fruits against each other, they will evolve into one bigger fruit and raise the player’s score. However, if too many fruits pile up inside the planet and overflow, the player loses the game.
Just like the first Suika Game, its sequel follows a linear fruit evolution line, beginning with Cherry, followed by Strawberry, Grape, Dekopon, Persimmon, Apple, Pear, Peach, Pineapple, Melon, and Watermelon, the biggest of them all. It is currently unconfirmed whether merging two Watermelons will clear up space like in the first game, but the description of Suika Game Planet encourages players to aim for Watermelon "to score big".
Suika Game Planet introduces a new combo mechanic called ‘Super Evolution’, which gives extra bonuses based on the number of fruits they merged within the given time period. Super Evolution can be triggered after merging fruits for a certain number. A co-op mode using the Nintendo Switch 2’s GameShare feature is also available, letting up to four players work together. It is unknown whether a player-versus-player mode similar to the first Suika Game’s multiplayer DLC is planned.
The player’s score is kept at the top-left of the screen, followed directly by the best score they earned. The top-right section indicates the next fruit that the player will be able to drop, which will help in planning their moves. On the bottom-right, there is a reference for the fruit evolution line called "Circle of Evolution", which will help players keep track of the progress of their fruit evolutions.
Suika Game Planet Story Plot
Suika Game Planet revolves around Poppy, who orbits the planet and drops fruits down to it. Poppy pilots a small levitating orange spaceship. We will update this article once more information about the story is available!
