Revival: Recolonization’s story is one of survival and reclamation. Set in the far-flung future of planet Earth after a war instigated by machines ravaged it, it will be up to one of the Emissaries—ancient rulers from Earth’s past— to reunite the scattered tribes of humanity and earn back the world they once lost.
Dredge up technologies long lost and discover what this new world has to offer. Dive through ancient ruins and scatter the remaining peons of the rogue AI who ended your world. Revival: Recolonization Gameplay
Revival: Recolonization is a 4X game featuring turn-based strategy elements for its combat mode. The game features genre staple mechanics like hex-based grid movement, adjacency-dependent city planning, terrain-based overworld traversal, production-based queues, and an expansive tech tree to research through.
Revival: Recolonization also has the unique feature of manifesting your leader as a usable unit in the overworld, granting you powerful terraforming abilities and grand edicts to raze enemies and raise allies, respectively.
The game also gives a special focus to terraforming and biomes, with both friendly and hostile units gaining benefits and debuffs depending on their compatibility with their current biome.
