Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake Gameplay

In Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake, players control Lundi as he rides Lagi through various on-rail shooting levels, ranging from deserts, canyons, underground fortresses, lush forests, and more. Levels are organized into different "Episodes", with seven total in the original 1996 game.
Each Episode has branching paths that will alter the kinds of enemies and scenery you encounter, offering different experiences and difficulty levels. A boss fight will be waiting for each Episode, all comprised of various powerful creatures and technologically advanced ancient machines. Several enemies and environmental objects can be destroyed for points that will be tallied at the end of the Episodes.

Lundi can shoot straight with his gun while Lagi uses target-seeking laser beams, letting you hit moving enemies with ease. An attack introduced in the original 1996 game called "Berserk" will fire a barrage of homing lasers at all enemies on-screen until the green gauge on the bottom left is depleted. This gauge will fill up as players shoot down enemies.
Not much else is known about the gameplay changes from the original in the Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake as of this writing. We’ll be sure to update this as more footage is released!
Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake Story Plot

Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake is set after many millennia since the fall of a period known as "the old age". A war now rages between the Empire and the nation of Meccania, fighting over the remnants of this old age, particularly ancient technology lost to time.
A villager, Jean Jacque Lundi, hid and raised a mutant variant of a common ride creature known as "e;coolia". Naming the creature Lagi, Lundi trains it to fly until the day that an ancient airship called the Shelcoof decimated his village to cinders. Lagi fires three homing lasers at the Shelcoof, an attack that dragons from the old age are known for using.
