Mewgenics Gameplay

Mewgenics is a turn-based roguelike RPG that mixes tactical battles with detailed feline management. Players will build a team of mutant cats, each with different roles and builds, then send them off into what the developers refer to as "randomly generated adventures" where stats, skills, smart planning, and luck matter.
With a huge variety of abilities, classes, items, and enemies to encounter, each run is likely to be unique, encouraging experimentation and creative team setups. But between the battles and preparation, the game also leans into cat breeding and long-term growth.
Cats that survive their adventures can pass down traits and mutations to future generations, shaping how the next run plays out. This creates a loop where players aren’t just thinking about the current fight but also about how current choices will affect their growing feline lineage over time.
Mewgenics Story Plot

Mewgenics takes place in the odd world of Boon County, where players act as a cat breeder trying to raise the ultimate team of battle-ready franken-felines. Rather than following a traditional story, the game lets its world unfold naturally as cats head out on quests, gather loot, and return home possibly changed by their added experience.
Currently, not many details have been shared about Mewgenics’ storyline. We’ll be sure to update this section when more information is revealed.
