Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Gameplay
It is not yet confirmed what the latest Fire Emblem title has in store for players in terms of gameplay, but it is clear that Fortune’s Weave will be returning with the mechanics from Fire Emblem: Three Houses with battalions and combat arts melded with classic Fire Emblem gameplay. The trailer has also confirmed that the Hunter class, originally introduced in Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon will be returning.
It is not yet clear whether any other classes or classic Fire Emblem mechanics, such as the weapon triangle system or unit affinities will also make a return.

Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Story Plot
Not much else has been revealed nor confirmed about the game’s plot, but the in-depth trailer may give players enough to speculate on. Following the tradition of preceding titles, Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave will see the clashing of individual storylines and motivations within the backdrop of a battle royale, where the winner will have their greatest wish granted by the nation’s Divine Sovereign.
The trailer spotlights four different warriors: young, bright-eyed Cai; Theodora, the warrior queen-in-waiting; Dietrich, the mysterious wielder of the heretofore unseen Hero’s Relic: Answerer; and the vengeful Leda who can control Demonic Beasts.
