After a long wait that included a PC demo release, Skate Story is set to launch on December 8, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
It had a notably prolonged development journey. The game was originally announced back in June 2022 during the Devolver Summer Showcase, with an initial planned release window for 2023. However, the title faced multiple delays, becoming a kind of running gag in Devolver Digital’s own presentations. It was first pushed back to 2024, and then again to 2025.
