Front Mission 2 Remake Release Date and Time

The game's publisher, Forever Entertanment, recently announced through Twitter that the Front Mission 2 remake will be released on October 5, 2023.
The remake was originally set to come out for the Nintendo Switch on June 12, 2023, before being delayed to an unspecified date of "Q3 2023." Forever Entertainment said in its statement at the time that the delay was to ensure "a polished and faithful remake" of the game.

Front Mission 2 Remake Story Plot
It is 2102, and the Oceania Cooperative Union struggles to maintain unity among its members throughout Southeast Asia and the rest of the Pacific. That’s because of an ongoing coup in the People’s Republic of Alordesh (formerly Bangladesh), with the Alordeshi military trying to make the country formally secede from the OCU. You will take control of three OCU military members, and see from their eyes how the Second Alordeshi Coup progresses.
Originally released way back in 1997 for the PlayStation, the Front Mission 2 remake is now headed for the Nintendo Switch, developed by Forever Entertainment. With updated graphics, gameplay, and mech designs, this version of the classic Front Mission game seeks to bring Wanzers to a modern audience just like Storm Trident’s work on Front Mission First.
This is the first time that the game will be released officially outside of Japan and features both a new soundtrack, as well as the new ‘free camera’ mode that lets you check out Wanzers in detail.
Front Mission 2 Remake Platform and Price
The Front Mission 2 remake is set to come out on the Nintendo Switch, though pre-orders are not yet available on the Nintendo E-Shop.
Will Front Mission 2 Remake Come to Other Platforms?
There is no word yet on whether we’ll see the Front Mission 2 remake arrive on platforms other than the Nintendo Switch. But the original Front Mission 2 is already available on the PS1 as its original title and in the game compilation Front Mission History.

Storm Trident has already remade the first Front Mission game for the Nintendo Switch, while it is set to release a remake of Front Mission 3 sometime in the future.

This trailer shows off more of the remake’s updated graphics, as well as the locales it takes place in like cities and jungles. We also get to see more of the Wanzer customization options, as well as the many weapons you can attach to your mech.
Story Trailer (Released April 28, 2023)
The trailer showcases a remastered version of the original game’s intro FMVs and also gives us insight into the story of how we’ll be in the shoes of OCU soldiers during the Second Alordeshi Coup. We also see more of the Wanzer models that have been remade for the updated re-release.
