Tekken 8 Lili's Gameplay Trailer
On April 23, 2023, Bandai Namco revealed that Lili will be a playable character in Tekken 8's latest gameplay trailer.
When the trailer came out, Chief Producer and Executive Game Director Katsuhiro Harada tweeted that Lili's new costume was design by artist, Jasmin Darnell.
While Lili had a great move set during her debut, it was improved for Tekken 8. In the trailer, we can see that Lili has a spin-kick move with a claw effect that can lead to a heat engager if it connects with the next kick.
Her combo move includes an elbow attack and a back wheel kick. Lili's new moves include a back kick with a back-split animation that can knock down the opponent and a full crouch move with a new animation.
Tekken 8 Release Date
Speculated To Be Released On Q4 2023 Or Early 2024
Tekken 8 is the next installment in the iconic fighting game franchise Tekken.
While there is no release date yet, it is speculated to release in the latter part of 2023 or early 2024. Since Street Fighter 6 will be released in mid-2023, Tekken 8 may opt for a later date this year or early 2024 since direct competitors may not do well if they launch in the same week.
Another speculation involved the esports community spreading prizes during tournaments to support more players.
