The recent Capcom Spotlight announced that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One on April 28, 2023. The DLC expansion includes all post-release content up to Free Title Update 3 (Ver. 13) and challenging monsters such as Chaotic Gore Magala, Lunagaron, and Malzeno.
Digital pre-orders for PS5, Xbox Series, and Xbox One are currently available in PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store Xbox for only $39.99.
Note: You must own the base game, Monster Hunter Rise and complete the 7-star Hub Quest "Serpent Goddess of Thunder" to play the DLC expansion.
The fact that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will be accessible on different platforms is not surprising, given that the game is one of Capcom's best-selling titles and has sold over five million copies on PC and Switch.
