The players receive a head start thanks to these Tier skips, allowing them to loot more and engage in more combat while the enemies are still at a lesser level. The Ultimate Edition costs $10 more than the Digital Deluxe Edition.

Which Edition Do We Recommend for Pre-order?
Buy the Standard Edition
The Digital Deluxe and Ultimate Edition of the game have mostly the same content, except that the Ultimate Edition includes 20 Tier Skips and a cosmetic item. If you want to progress quickly in the game, you can buy the Ultimate Edition for $99.99, but that's quite a high price tag. Also skipping tiers might be viewed positively by some, but speaking objectively: you are paying more to play less of the game, so we find it hard to recommend the Ultimate Edition.
The Digital Deluxe Edition offers additional content for a still high, but more reasonable price of $89.99. If you want the DLC for Diablo IV, previous Diablo games, and a Seasonal Battle Pass Unlock, this might be for you, but we still consider it to be pretty pricey for the content provided.
The Standard Edition is the only one that comes in a physical version. Players who prefer physical copies should pre-order the game to receive the pre-order bonus and early access to the Open Beta. We recommend pre-ordering the standard edition, seeing how much you enjoy the game, and if you can see yourself putting a lot of time into it, then buy the battle pass.
