Steam VR 2.0

Valve Corporation has officially released SteamVR 2.0 exactly one month after its surprise beta launch in September. It features a major update that significantly improves the VR experience for Steam users. This release is marked by the introduction of a new SteamVR UI, which integrates the existing features of Steam and Steam Deck into its VR counterpart. Valve states in a Steam post, "This is our first big step in a larger ongoing effort to better unify the Steam ecosystem for all users, providing a more consistent experience across devices. This update also allows us to add new Steam features in the future much faster and more frequently."
What’s new?
The update is focused on seamlessly integrating existing features from Steam and the Steam Deck into SteamVR. Steam Chat and Voice Chat are now fully integrated, allowing VR users to communicate with their friends all while enjoying the extremely immersive VR experience. They also improved their virtual keyboard with more support for dual-cursor typing, additional languages, emojis, and themes. The VR store has been updated to show new and popular VR titles over its more traditional gaming counterparts. Finally, the notification system is now much more convenient and easily accessible within the VR interface.

How do I access the update?
To experience these new features for yourself, you’ll have to make sure your Steam client is updated. You can check by navigating to the Steam tab and then clicking on "Check for Steam Client Updates."
