Uncharted 2 Script Has Been Made
Despite Not Being Officially Confirmed Yet
Mark Wahlberg, the actor behind Uncharted’s Victor "Sully" Sullivan, said in an interview with The Direct that Uncharted 2’s movie script has already been made. This is surprising news because the sequel hasn’t even been officially announced yet.
While discussing Uncharted 2, Wahlberg stated that "I've heard lots of different ideas. I know somebody's written a script, and they're still working on it, and it would consist of having the mustache the whole entire time,"
Uncharted is a film adaptation of the renowned PlayStation exclusive game franchise of the same title, and covers Wahlberg as Sully, a treasure hunter who takes a young Nathan Drake, the protagonist of the game franchise played by Tom Holland, under his wing. Wahlberg’s statement on the mustache is in reference to his character not having one until the movie’s final scene, despite his video game counterpart sporting one. The film was pretty successful, raking in $139 million during its opening weekend.
