The Last Of Us Part 2 Lost Levels Revealed

Naughty Dog revealed three additional Lost Levels in the announcement trailer for The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered. These levels were cut from the original game, but are now going to be included for the Playstation 5 upgrade as bonus content. The PlayStation page of the game shows the names of the Lost Levels as the following: Jackson Party, Boar Hunt, and Sewers.

The announcement trailer showed sneak peeks of Lost Levels, where it follows Ellie walking around the snowy Jackson settlement, strewn with lights and decor hanging from the trees. Another clip showed Ellie walking and following a trail of blood towards a rundown store, implying a Boar Hunt.

Fans were nervous about the Sewers level in particular as they remember the particular horrors they had to go through during their playthrough of the short sewer section en route to the hospital in the original game. Players can explore “early development versions” of these levels which will be paired with developer commentary, accessible through the Bonus Content section of the main menu.

The Last Of Us Part 2 Other Bonus Content

The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered will also feature a brand-new roguelike mode called “No Return,” which will hold a series of random encounters featuring different enemies and familiar locations from the main game, concluding with intense and climactic boss battles. You will be able to play as a variety of different characters, such as Dina, Jesse, Tommy, and more. Each playable character will have their own unique traits and skins as you progress and unlock them in the new mode.

The game will also feature a bunch of new options like free guitar play, new outfits, DualSense integration, improved graphics, and more. The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered launches on January 19. Players who already own the original game can upgrade to the PS5 version for $10, with the ability to import existing save files.
