Stranger Than Heaven Revealed as RGG’s Latest Project
Project Century, RGG Studios’ latest upcoming game, has finally revealed its true name: Stranger Than Heaven! Set in 1943 Japan, the game will be similar to the likes of the older Yakuza titles, as well as the Judgment franchise. Follow the exploits of Mako Daito as he looks to uncover his turbulent past in this new, fast-paced action game.
Not much is revealed yet when it comes to the game’s narrative or even its combat mechanics, so stay tuned as we’ll update our articles when more information is available!
Dying Light: The Beast Arrives on August 22
Kyle Crane makes his return in Dying Light: The Beast. Tear through modified zombified hordes in this open-world action survival horror game by Techlands, which features the studio’s signature system of transitioning between night and day.
Another display of duality can be seen with Kyle’s zombie DNA. Players can focus on a more primal part of his kit that promises to be as effective as the rest of his arsenal. Additionally, parkour is reintroduced to the series, as well as off-road alternatives for those who enjoy the thrill of plowing through a crowd of monsters. Furthermore, for those who enjoy shared survival, four-player co-op is available in a shared progression system for Castor Woods.

Atomic Heart 2 Explodes Into the Scene
Atomic Heart, the retrofuturistic action rpg shooter, is back with a new ambitious sequel that is now in active development for Unreal Engine 5. The game promises a greater emphasis on RPG elements and player freedom, while expanding on its alternative Soviet Union setting.
The announcement trailer shows a space-age venture into the spiritual successor, which sports new methods of traversal such as dune buggies, aerial vehicles, and paragliding.

ILL is a Visceral Body Horror Game Coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC
Fans of body horror will find much to anticipate in ILL, a first-person action horror game that pushes the genre to new extremes with some of the most grotesque and unsettling depictions of the human form to date. Set within a dark, overrun fortress consumed by an unknown force, the game offers an intense experience marked by unpredictable creatures, a detailed dismemberment system, and realistic physics that heighten the sense of constant dread.

Jurassic Park World Evolution 3 Releases October 21
Jurassic Park World Evolution 3 embodies the same creative freedom that served as a staple for the games’ predecessors. In terms of park building, Evolution 3 offers new terrain-editing tools to tinker finer details of their parks as they see fit; a workshop has been implemented for users to share their creations with others online; and first-person camera views allow for immersive tours around their prehistoric creations.
However, all footage shown is just the Pre-Alpha and the Steam page has confirmed the use of generative AI for the scientist models. Chronicles: Medieval Comes to Early Access on Steam In 2026
Chronicles: Medieval is an immersive medieval sandbox game that includes strategic real-time combat. The game's makers, Raw Power Gamers, have stressed historical realism in terms of clothing, weaponry, and warfare employed during the time period.

End of Abyss Coming in 2026
Descend to the depths with End of Abyss, a harrowing sci-fi adventure developed by former “Little Nightmare” developers, Section 9. The newly unveiled trailer features Cel—a young combat technician—as she scours the underground site, using the tools under her belt to confront the assortment of sprawling enemies that dwell within the darkness.
In addition, an ominous mechanical box is highlighted in the trailer, which seems to be an homage to the insidious AI, HAL 9000, from the 2001: A Space Odyssey. This box seems to expect the player's descent, and alludes to a greater mystery that surrounds the complex.

Acts of Blood Demo Out Now
Acts of Blood is an intense action beat-em-up with brutal hand to hand combat. It was created by first time solo developer, Fajrul FN from Bandung Indonesia and exhibits similar martial arts and improvised weaponry similar to the pseudo hack and slash brawler, Sifu.
The plot revolves around Hendra, a college student who chooses to take matters into his own hands and confront those guilty for his family's murder. The demo was shadow-dropped on steam following the release of its trailer in Summer Games Fest 2025, and offers customization, destructible environments, parkour, as well as reactive combat!
Acts of Blood will arrive in Summer 2026, but the demo is available now on Steam.
MIO Memories in Orbit Demo Out Now
A brief trailer for MIO Memories in Orbit was unveiled at Summer Games Fest 2025. The gameplay is reminiscent of a traditional metroidvania platformer with 2.5D graphics evoking hand-drawn visual novels. You play as MIO, an android with no memory who must survey his surroundings in order to uncover the secrets of a fallen world.

Mina the Hollower is an 8-bit inspired action-adventure game from Yacht Club Games, creators of Shovel Knight. Descendants have the option of solo and 4 player co-op, similar to that of Warframe’s gameplay, but differs by having more emphasis on boss raids. Additionally, a previous NPC, Nell, is featured as an upcoming playable character in game and uses telekinetic abilities to subdue her foes.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword Showcases Formidable Foes Emerge Trailer
Onimusha returns with its latest installment, Onimusha: Way of the Sword. The trailer follows the legendary samurai, Miyamoto Musashi, as he battles a slew of demons—including a revamped Osric. Long-time Onimusha fans would know him as the initial boss from the first game, Onimusha: Warlords.
His most formidable opponent emerges much later, however, as the rival Musashi faces in none other than the famous historical figure, Sasaki Ganryu. Also known as Sasaki Kojiro, Ganryu is the strongest opponent that Musashi has fought during his lifetime. Both characters seem to hold an eye-like artifact embedded in an arm gauntlet, alluding to the possible exploration of narrative parallels between them.

Mongil: Star Drive Closed Beta Test Coming This June 20, 2025
Netmarble Monster, together with parent company Netmarble, has released a new trailer for its upcoming fantasy adventure title Mongil: Star Dive. The trailer spotlights monster taming as a central gameplay element, expanding on the mechanics introduced in Netmarble’s 2013 fan-favorite, Monster Taming. It also features real-time, party-based combat with multiple characters engaging in fast-paced, coordinated battles—underscoring the game’s emphasis on dynamic action.
Netmarble has also begun accepting applications for the closed beta test, giving players a chance to try the game early and provide feedback ahead of launch. The beta is scheduled to run from June 19 to 26.

WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers is a souls-like action rpg game set in a dark and tumultuous interpretation of the Ming Dynasty Era. Players enter the world of Wuchang, a skilled pirate warrior, who suffers from the uncertainty of her past and the Feathering disease.

HITMAN x MindsEye Announced for Summer 2025, Pre-Orders Now Live
MindsEye will launch in a few days, on June 10, 2025, but a Hitman collaboration was announced to launch July 2025. MindsEye is a single-player action-adventure thriller set in the fictional near-future city of Redrock. The game follows Jacob Diaz, a former special-ops soldier with fragmented memories from his MindsEye neural implant, navigating a desert metropolis where technology governs daily life.
The collab introduces Agent 47 as a playable character in a special mission that IOI Interactive, the publisher for both MindsEye and the Hitman franchise, developed to bring stealth assassination gameplay elements into MindsEye's technologically advanced world. The collaboration mission was crafted to maintain the tactical precision associated with Agent 47's missions.
The collab should be timed well for players to pick up after completing the game in the first month.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Pre-Registers are Open on Steam and PlayStation
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is an open-world action RPG developed by Netmarble based on Nakaba Suzuki's manga series. Players control Prince Tristan of the Kingdom of Liones in an original story exploring time distortions threatening Britannia.
The game features party-based combat allowing players to gather multiple heroes while battling through corrupted timelines. Gameplay includes exploration across an open-world version of Britannia, strategic combat encounters, and character progression systems.
The story centers on Prince Tristan's first adventure as he works to restore order to a world where temporal anomalies have created dangerous convergences. The game incorporates elements from both the original Seven Deadly Sins series and its sequel focusing on the next generation of characters.

SCUM Launches on Steam on June 17
SCUM is a hardcore survival simulation that takes place on a 225-square-kilometer island where up to 64 players compete as maximum-security prisoners in a televised survival event monitored by TEC1 corporation. After seven years of development and 258 updates, the 1.0 update will release with a complete map rework, major graphical improvements and performance optimizations.
Players navigate dense forests, abandoned towns, airfields, beaches, and rural areas while managing complex survival mechanics including detailed metabolism, injury systems, and realistic resource requirements.
The game supports both solo survival and squad-based cooperation against environmental hazards, undead prisoners, colossal mechs, and hostile players. SCUM emphasizes uncompromising realism with no assistance systems, requiring players to master survival through skill development and strategic planning.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Spotlights Actors Luca Marinelli and Alissa Jung as characters Neil and Lucy
Game Director, Hideo Kojima, makes a live appearance to showcase an exclusive scene from Deathstranding 2. The cutscene provides a first look at Neil (Luca Marinelli) and Lucy (Alissa Jung) who hint at previous history with one another through their in-game dialogue and similar cancer-like markings.
Kojima teases the audience with the narrative significance of the characters as players uncover more of the story, specifying the deep connection they share. He then goes on to say that, while Mads Mikkelsen will not return to play Cliff Unger in the sequel, he believes Luca Marinelli's performance will be on par—if not better—in his stead, further supporting his antagonistic role in the series.
Following the presentation was the announcement of a live gameplay demo of Death Stranding 2. Geoff Keighley and Hideo Kojima will take the stage once more, alongside cast members such as Troy Baker, Elle Fanning and Luca Marinelli. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will release on June 26, 2025 for PlayStation 5 with bonus pre-order content, Digital-Deluxe, and Collector Editions now available.
