Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Minecraft DLC and Events
Launches October 8, 2025
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds’ Minecraft Pack is launching this October 8, 2025. In a Twitter (X) post on October 7, 2025, developer SEGA confirmed the pack’s release date, which will include iconic Minecraft characters, Steve, Alex, and a Creeper as racers, and a brand-new stage.
The Minecraft DLC is part of CrossWorlds’ line of adding new racers from different franchises, such as SpongeBob SquarePants, PAC-MAN, Mega Man, and more. The Minecraft Pack is available to Season Pass and Digital Deluxe owners, and can be purchased separately on the game’s digital storefronts.
Minecraft Festival on October 9
Along with the release of the Minecraft pack, CrossWorlds will be holding a Minecraft Festival to commemorate the pack’s launch. The festival will begin on October 9 at 8:00 PM ET and will run until October 11 at 7:59 PM ET.
Players can join the Minecraft Festival regardless of whether they have the DLC or not.SEGA has yet to share more details regarding the rewards players can obtain at the festival.
