Extended Gameplay Footage
The aforementioned Silent Hill Transmission that took place separate from Sony’s State of Play also showcased an extended gameplay look into several of the game’s sections. It goes from James walking through the iconic foggy streets of Silent Hill, navigating the tight corners and alleys trying to find his way through the town. He then runs into terrifying otherworldly monsters in which he engages in hard-fought battles with anything he finds that can be made into a weapon: from a wooden board with nails, to a fully-functional shotgun.
James is then shown meeting Laura, the innocent child seemingly lost in Silent Hill, seemingly unaware of the horrors that roam the streets. Brief scenes with Maria were also featured as they chase after Laura into Brookhaven Hospital, wherein they rummage through the records trying to find any useful information.
