Bandai Namco announced today that it has launched a demo for Sand Land, the Action RPG based on Akira Toriyama’s manga series of the same name. The demo offers players a sneak peek into the vibrant world of Sand Land, featuring thrilling vehicle and melee combat and exploration. The full game is scheduled for release on April 26, 2024, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam.

Players take on the roles of the Fiend Prince Beelzebub, his companion Thief, and the fearless Sheriff Rao as a band of heroic misfits journeying through the desert landscape aboard Battle Tanks, Battle Armors, and Motorcycles. Additionally, those who participate in the demo will receive rewards in the full game upon its release, including 30 B-grade steel and 30 B-grade bolts that can be used to enhance vehicles.

Penned and illustrated by the legendary Akira Toriyama in 2000, Sand Land follows the adventures of Beelzebub as he embarks on a quest through the sand lands alongside Sheriff Rao and a demon thief. The game recreates the series' narrative in a fast-paced action RPG format, with an added focus on vehicle customization as a main gameplay feature.
