Pokémon Go Trainers have a chance to encounter, battle, and catch Gigantamax Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, and more as Gigantamax Pokémon get added in the game!

Gigantamax Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise Will Appear
Following the kick-off of the Max Out season last month, Pokémon Go has announced that Gigantamax Pokémon, along with special events, will be added in the game from October 26 10:00 a.m. local time to October 27 8:00 p.m. local time. Trainers can band together with up to 39 others to take on Gigantamax Pokémon, 'mons that have increased in strength and size, in special Max Battle events. These 'mons can also be found in new Power Spots across the globe.
During these limited-time events launching later in the month, Trainers can encounter, battle, and catch Gigantamax 'mons including Gigantamax Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. These Pokémon are rather challenging to battle, and it's recommended to be in at least a group of 10 to take them on. "Join the larger group and battle together in groups of four to achieve victory before the Power Spot Boss knocks out your party—and get a chance to catch your own Gigantamax Pokémon," Pokémon added in its announcement.
Any Trainer who has at least one Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokémon in their battle party can engage in Max Battles. Moreover, Gigantamax Pokémon can learn up to three "Max Moves," namely a unique attack, Max Spirit, and Max Guard. A Gigantamaxed Pokémon will always learn a powerful G-Max Move, unique to each species of 'mon, as their first Max Move. As an important side note to Trainers: only Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémon can be used in Max Battles. To initiate Max Battles, Max Particles must be used—the more powerful the Power Spot Boss is the more Max Particles are needed to be spent. And of course, defeating a Power Spot Boss will grant rewards which can be further upgraded using Pokécoins. Trainers can expect to receive rewards such as:
