Jill Valentine Confirmed and Other Characters Teased
Sci-fi RPG shooter Nikke: Goddess of Victory (Nikke) announced its collab with the action-horror game series Resident Evil (RE) at Gamescom 2025, revealing fan favorite Jill Valentine. Jill will join the fight in Nikke, sporting her outfit from the 2020 remake of RE3.
"The identity of the short-haired woman revealed at the end of the teaser is none other than Jill Valentine, an iconic protagonist from the Resident Evil series," confirmed publisher Level Infinite in a press release. "Could other popular Resident Evil characters be joining the fight next?"
The short trailer also teased other RE character appearances in the Nikke collab. Silhouetted figures were seen accompanying or interacting with Nikke characters Poli, Killer D, and the commander (the player character), each thrust into a series of strange and occult events.
"Almost certain that the other character appearing in the PV is Ada Wong (the scene where she appears clearly references RE4)," said one confident fan on Twitter, referencing Ada Wong’s reunion with recurring protagonist Leon Kennedy in RE4.

Although the reveal provided little information about the event, publisher Level Infinite promised in a press release that more details about the release date, content, and playable characters would be revealed on Nikke’s official website and social media accounts.
Nikke has previously collaborated with Chainsaw Man, Nier Automata, Re:Zero, Dave the Diver, Neon Genesis Evangelion (twice), and Stellar Blade. Resident Evil will be the 7th IP to cross over with the sci-fi RPG shooter.
