First Wave Hits Today
MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls developer Arc System Works, together with Sony Interactive Entertainment, begin rolling out the first wave of invites for the game’s upcoming second beta test. In a post on Tokon’s official Twitter (X) on November 20, they announced that fans who tried to register for the beta must check their emails to know if they qualified.
The second beta test for Tokon was first announced during the PlayStation State of Play Japan on November 11, 2025. Fans rejoiced as they will get another chance to take a closer look at the highly-anticipated tag fighter.
For those who are unable to receive any confirmation, the developers stated that additional invitation rollouts are coming. Furthermore, those who joined the previous Closed Beta in September 2025 are automatically registered and will receive a reminder email from PlayStation to notify them about the upcoming beta.
72 Hours Non-Stop

Based on the emails players received, the beta test will begin on December 5, 2025, at 12:00 AM PT and will last until December 7, 2025, at 11:59 PM PT. Unlike the previous Closed Beta, which ran on specific session times, the second beta will allow players to continuously play the game for 72 hours, unless server maintenance is required.
Moreover, the upcoming beta will feature two new characters, including Spiderman and Ghost Rider, bumping the roster size to 8. There will also be 2 new stages for players to fight on, namely the Savage Land and the X-Mansion.

Aside from these inclusions, Tokon will also be implementing significant updates to balance, visuals, and overall performance. According to the developers, more information regarding these changes will be shared as the beta approaches.
