Ongoing Weekly Enhancements and More Updates in Development
Hexworks has unveiled an exciting free content roadmap for Lords of the Fallen, slated to be implemented before the year-end. The roadmap aims to introduce a slew of enhancements and updates coming to the game.
New improvements, quest events, cosmetics, and more are expected to come to the game. Apart from that, Hexworks has announced plans for extensive post-launch support, including weekly updates for performance, stability, QoL fixes, co-op, split PvP and PvE balance, and a New Game+ modifier system that Hexworks called “a first for the genre.”
Players may also expect the following content to be released:
● Umbral armor sets and questline
● Rhogar armor sets and questline
● Radiant armor sets and questline
● Stash inventory expansion
● New Grievous Strikes
● Additional secret boss weapon abilities
● New Spells packs
● Gamepad rebinding
Alongside these updates, a series of free events, similar to the “Season of the Bleak '' Halloween-themed event released during the Halloween season, are also in the pipeline for Lords of the Fallen.
Similarly, a “Pumpkin Patch” patch update was launched that reduced the density of enemies in some areas, added full crossplay, made improvements to New Game+, and patched up the game's performance issues.
Rocky Launch for Lords of the Fallen
Studio head Saul Gascon has stated that they are actively fostering their community and are continuously listening to players’ feedback. “Every addition to the game is a labor of love, as we strive to push both its and the genre’s boundaries.”
Lords of the Fallen experienced a disappointing launch, plagued by problems related to game balance and bugs. In response, the development team issued multiple updates, addressing these issues based on player feedback. Fortunately, players can anticipate ongoing support from the developers.
