⚫︎ Ashley Burch, the original voice actress behind Life is Strange's favorite blue-haired punk girl Chloe Price, has finally publicly spoken about the newest entry to the series. She shares that the falling out relationship between Chloe and the main character, Max Caulfield, wouldn't have happened, and that she "might not have written it that way."

⚫︎ During the Game Developers Choice Awards, the title won in its corresponding nomination for Games for Social Impact. However, much of the developer's studio, Deck Nine, has been laid off since the game's release. The remaining staff were at its sister event, the Game Developers Conference. The staff would go on to receive the award behind the scenes, but were the only winners the entire night who had no one to go on stage.

⚫︎ In a recent financial report from Square Enix, it was revealed that Double Exposure was pronounced as a huge loss for company, citing underselling and negative critical reception, making a sequel very unlikely.

⚫︎ Game director Jon Stauder has deemed the divisive reception to the release of the full game as very interesting. He welcomes the mixed reviews and says that it’s "better than a middling one." He mentions that he prefers the strong and emotional reactions the fans are giving, but also clarifies that the active fanbase’s reactions is unlike anything he’s been through before as a game director.

⚫︎ The director of the original Life is Strange games from Dont Nod, Michel Koch, took to Twitter(X) to defend the new game’s release under the different studio of Deck Nine. He says he’s "seen a lot of tension and hateful messages against the deck nine devs." and that none of it is justified as to how differently they chose to continue the series.

⚫︎ Game Director Jonathan Stauder and Narrative Director Felice Kuan took to their game reveal livestream hosted by media personality Elyse Willems to reassure fans they intend to respect both of the impactful endings from the first game. Max Caulfield VA and performer, Hannah Telle, also talked about her experiences returning to reprise the character after a decade away, and how she’s contributed to Max's growth in-game.
