Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut Cross-Play and PC System Requirements

Ghost of Tsushima is an action-adventure game released in 2020 for the PS4 and PS5. The game is set in the late 13th century of the Eastern continent and follows Jin Sakai, a samurai who sets out to protect Tsushima Island as the Mongol empire lays waste to entire nations along their campaign to conquer the East.

Nearly 4 years after its initial release, the acclaimed action-adventure makes its way to the PC for the very first time in the form of Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT, previously available to only the PlayStation consoles. Developed by Nixxes Software, the PC version offers an enhanced experience with additional content and features.

Additionally, the game includes optimization for ultra-wide monitors, supporting resolutions of 21:9, 32:9, and even 48:9, as well as triple monitor setups.

Along with the Director's Cut PC Version release, Nixxes Software confirmed cross-play functionality across all console versions of the game. PC players will be able to join forces with those on PS4 and PS5 in the Legends mode. Players can also use the in-game voice chat for seamless communication across platforms.

"Thanks to cross-play support, Legends players on Windows PCs can team up with players on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles," Nixxes Software said in a PlayStation Blog entry, "You will be required to sign into your PlayStation Network account to access Legends mode."

In line with the development, Sony introduced a new PlayStation PC overlay alongside the release of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC. This overlay grants players access to features such as the friend list, Trophies, settings, and PlayStation account management. PC players can earn PlayStation Trophies while playing, sharing the same Trophy included in the PS5 version. In addition, the PC version also has full support for Achievements on the Epic Games Store, apart from Steam.

Players may sign in with their existing PlayStation Network account or create a new one to access the new overlay feature and trophies. It will be accessible from the in-game menu or, for PC players, by pressing the "SHIFT + F1" shortcut on the keyboard.
