After almost three months since its reveal at The Game Awards 2025, Gang of Dragon is at risk of cancellation as NetEase is reportedly pulling funding from Nagoshi Studio this May. The reason behind it was NetEase, its parent company, is scaling back on its global game development footpring. Gang of Dragon requires an addition $44.4 million to complete the game.

December 25

　⚫︎　A few weeks after its reveal, new screenshots are available in the game's official Steam page, showing off its third-person combat as well as a menu screen for vehicle customization.

　⚫︎　Gang of Dragon was officially revealed at The Game Awards 2025. An upcoming action-adventure by former Yakuza creator, Toshihiro Nagoshi. It follows Shin Ji-seong, played by Korean actor Ma Dong-seok, in a crime story reminiscent of Nagoshi's previous Yakuza titles.
