Fortnite Launching Gundam Team Deathmatch-Style Map

Free to Play and Releasing Later This Year

Announced at the 2024 San Diego Comic Convention, Look North World will create a Team Deathmatch-style UEFN Island in Fortnite featuring Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance mobile suits. UEFN, or the Unreal Editor for Fortnite, is a game engine designed solely for developing custom maps and game modes for Fortnite, an online shooter game and game platform by Epic Games.

Gundam franchise publisher Bandai Namco and Look North World revealed that they are joining forces on this project to celebrate the upcoming Netflix anime series Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance. Fortnite's Gundam team deathmatch-style game map will introduce the iconic Gundam mobile suits into the Fortnite universe.

During the Team Deathmatch battles, players can power up their faction’s mobile suits by collecting points and assists. Once powered up, a pilot from each team will be chosen to lead the charge and secure victory. The Gundam Team Deathmatch UEFN Island is free-to-play and expected to release later this year shortly after the launch of the anime on October 17, 2024. The map will be available on every platform that Fortnite is on.
