Invincible Brings 10v10 Infection Style Deathmatch to Fortnite

Game Modes Accessible via Codes

Featuring a crossover between the popular battle royale game, Fortnite, and the acclaimed animated series, Invincible, Invincible Universe: Rise of the Sequids debuted on Fortnite on Thursday. "Rise of the Sequids" introduced a 10v10 infection-style deathmatch gameplay set on a captivating Mars-themed map.

In this mode, players are divided into two teams: humanity and parasitic alien Sequids. The objective entailed humanity preventing the Sequids from escaping Mars, while the Sequids aim to assimilate all humans into their hive mind. The winner is determined when one team successfully unites all players under a single team

"We started the project last year and knew we want to do something that was Invincible," Skybound said in an interview, "we realized the best enemy that we could use was an existing sort of Fortnite AI. And the Fortnite themes just happened to match stylistically a lot closer to Magmanites and Doc Seismic."

Rise of the Sequids joined two other Invincible-themed game modes already available in Fortnite. Players can access this action-packed world of Invincible in Fortnite by using unique Island Codes provided by Skybound Games.
