Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Official X(Twitter) Account recently released a message from creative director Tetsuya Nomura regarding streaming and posting guidelines.
In the statement, Nomura reminds fans to post "spoiler warnings" on social media posts about anything related to the game’s story so as to "not affect the experience of those who have yet to play the game."
He emphasizes refraining from posting any scenes related to those "vital parts" of the story in " video thumbnails."
Despite their guidelines, he states that their team did not restrict the "record" or "share" function for "Final Fantasy VII Rebirth" so that players can "share and comment" their gameplay experiences.
Nomura ends his message by reiterating his message to fans to avoid spoiling others until they "have personally completed the story" so that everyone can enjoy the game "to the fullest."
