Dead Island 2 has recently rolled Update Patch 6, adding New Game Plus (NG+) mode that will let you replay the entire game at a higher difficulty level, with your inventory intact. Meanwhile, to aid you in the zombie-slaying on NG+, every weapon that gets rolled out will be more powerful than those in the main game, with more fixed-rarity weapons to collect and wield, confirmed the devs. In addition, the update adds the new Neighbourhood Watch horde mode, a cross between a horde mode and tower defense, wherein the objective would be to defend your home base. Each run of Neighborhood Watch lasts five days where you'll spend the first four days defending your base, killing off hordes of enemies on top of completing objectives to attain gear that you need.
