Day of the Devs opened submissions earlier this year and has reportedly received over 1,100 submissions. The selection committee narrowed it down to 20 titles, featuring works from studios and creators such as Crew Games, Digital Sun, House House, Jenny Jiao Hsia, AP Thomson, Jie En Lee, Violet W-P, Ken "coda" Snyder, Mortis Ghost, Nyamakop, Outerloop, Playables, Something We Made, Thomas Waterzooi, TVT Co. Ltd., and Ratata Arts.
Among the anticipated titles is TIRE BOY by GameTeam 6, a fast-paced action-adventure platformer. Another one is Possessor(s), an action side-scroller from Heart Machine, known for their previous hit Hyper Light Drifter. Additionally, Neverway by Coldblood Inc. is said to show a glimpse of the psychological horror life sim RPG.
