Larian Adds Seventh Branch To Their Growing Family

Larian Studios, the developers behind critically acclaimed titles such as 2023’s GOTY Baldur’s Gate 3 and the multi-awarded Divinity series, welcome their seventh studio located in Warsaw, Poland.
In a Twitter (X) post, Larian Studios says, "With two very ambitious RPGs now starting development, what better way to see our visions realised than by growing the team and opening a 7th studio in the heart of Poland’s lively gaming scene!"
With a new studio up and running, Larian is on the search for the "best-in-class developers" for their Warsaw branch, as they are "dedicated to fostering an environment where developers can thrive creatively and reclaim their agency." Interested applicants currently residing in Poland can visit the studio’s booth inside the Digital Dragons Conference 2024 in Kraków, one of the biggest events for the gaming industry in Europe, happening today.

Two RPGs In The Works
At present, there are no details on what those "two very ambitious RPGs" are. But Baldur’s Gate 3 fans, don’t get your hopes up. Larian announced a while back that they will be moving on from the series–including DLCs, expansions, and sequels– to start creating something entirely new. Some speculate it may be a continuation of their Divinity series, their original IP.
Even without a hint or a tease from Larian, one thing is for sure, is that players should gear up for any sudden announcements. With a long list of commercial successes under their wing and a newfound motivation, Larian Studios is more than ready to again show the world their quality games.
