Battlefield 6 Free Trial Week Begins

Experience The All Out Warfare

Battlefield 6 is currently available to play for free for a limited time only on all platforms, featuring some of the Season 1 multiplayer maps and modes. As announced by EA and Battlefield Studios on November 25, the best-selling first-person shooter of 2025 offers a free trial week to allow fans to experience "the high-octane, all-out warfare of Battlefield 6."

The free trial run began on November 25 at 4:00 AM PT / 7:00 AM ET, and will last until December 2 at 4:00 AM PT / 7:00 AM ET. Battlefield General Manager Byron Beede welcomed fans to Battlefield 6 in a press release on the same date, expressing his excitement about the free trial.

"We are extremely proud of what our amazing teams at Battlefield Studios have accomplished and tremendously excited about the community’s passion as we continue to build Battlefield for and with our fans. Today’s launch of a free trial for Battlefield 6 is the perfect opportunity for new players to have the All Out Warfare experience that millions of players around the world are raving about," he said.

Battlefield 6 has been a huge hit before it even fully released, reaching over 500k concurrent players during its open beta weekend and selling over 7 million copies in its first three days. This free trial week will allow those on the fence to test the game out and experience why EA’s flagship shooter has seen this much success.

Here at Game8, we gave Battlefield 6 an 82 out of 100 for its improved gameplay and overall performance, taking the series in the right direction. To know more about our thoughts on the game, check out our review below.

Three Playlists With Five Modes and Three Maps

Battlefield 6 Free Trial Week Features

The Battlefield 6 Free Trial features three multiplayer playlists for fans to try out, including Initiation Breakthrough, Close Quarters Battle, and All-Out Warfare. These playlists are played across five game modes: Breakthrough, Conquest, Escalation, Team Deathmatch, and the limited-time, two-round Sabotage.

Furthermore, these modes can be played on three maps, such as Siege of Cairo and the recently released Eastwood and Blackwell Fields. Progress from playing during the trial week can be carried over to the base game.

Additionally, those who are already playing Battlefield REDSEC can apply their Levels, Career Rank, Hardware Unlocks, and use their cosmetics during the trial.

REDSEC Login Reward

Battlefield REDSEC Login Reward

Aside from the free trial week, Battlefield 6 is currently offering a free weapon package for those who log in to either Battlefield 6 or REDSEC. In celebration of the recent release of California Resistance, the game’s mid-season event, players can unlock the "Lethal Force" Weapon Package for the M2010 ESR Sniper Rifle by logging into Battlefield REDSEC.

The instructions read, "Simply boot up REDSEC - or Battlefield 6, if you are an owner - and claim your reward in the Inbox. Don’t know where to find the Inbox? Just look for the EA Logo - or the envelope - in the main menu, then either click it or press the corresponding button on your controller to view EA Connect. This is where you can find, see and interact with friends regardless of game platform, as well as view messages in your Inbox, including the game message that grants you the "Lethal Force" M2010 ESR Sniper Rifle Weapon Package."

The free weapon package will only be available until the end of the week, November 30, 2025. Battlefield Studios urges players to grab this freebie as this "long-range powerhouse" is perfect for distanced encounters in REDSEC Battle Royale and Conquest in Battlefield 6 Multiplayer.

Battlefield 6 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games, and EA App. To stay up to date with the latest information about the game, check out our article below!
