[Update: 10/26/2023] As it turned out, Hypergryph and Mountain Contour, Arknights: Endfield's developers, did drop a massive update for its audience in the form of two trailers. The first trailer they uploaded was a new gameplay demo that revealed the game's combat system, party menus, exploration, and even a form of base-building feature. The second trailer is a teaser for the game's plot and setting, which provides a good deal of insight into the world where Arknights: Endfield's story will take place.
Additionally, the developers have started recruiting people for the testing phase of Arknights: Endfield's Chinese servers. This shows that the game is at a state where it's playable and clues us in on a possible timeframe for the game's release.
After one year, seven months, and eight days, Arknights: Endfield’s official social media accounts on X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook (including Instagram) finally posted an update. The contents?

Ever since Hypergryph’s Endfield team made their first post announcing the existence of Arknights: Endfield to the world back on March 16, 2022, their social media accounts have released a grand total of six posts as of writing this article. That includes the latest one posted today. On average, that means they have made one post every three or so months.
Regardless, many people seem happy that the Global social media accounts made a post even after over a year had passed. It signaled that the development of Arknights: Endfield hasn’t been abandoned despite their social media silence.
Speculations for the end of their social media silence are running rampant. Players are expecting a new gameplay trailer, a pre-registration opening, an announcement of testing phase recruitments, or a combination of these.
What is Known About Arknights Endfield
Arknights: Endfield is an upcoming mobile game being developed by Hypergryph and Mountain Contour. It is the next installment of the massively popular mobile game Arknights, which boasts some of the best musical tracks on the platform.
Not much is known about the game besides the few trailers that have been officially released and the even rarer leaks that have wormed itself into the public. The only widely known information is that it will be a 3D game instead of the pseudo-3D environment used by its predecessor, it’s a real-time RPG instead of being tower defense, and it will still emphasize strategic planning.
