ARC Raiders Shrouded Sky Trailer Highlights Hurricane, New ARC Enemies
Captures Escalating Surface Conditions
ARC Raiders received a new Shrouded Sky trailer on February 23. Embark Studios shared further details on the game’s official website and confirmed two new ARC enemies as part of the February 24 update.
At just over a minute long, the newly released trailer highlights the Hurricane map condition and underscores how disruptive the violent weather will be. The storm sweeps across the Rust Belt—the hostile topside zone where Raiders scavenge for resources—and alters how players approach topside runs as strong winds affect speed and stamina. Heavy debris crashes into shields and wears them down while visibility continues to drop. Players will have to navigate more cautiously across once familiar terrain.

The trailer also briefly introduces a Seasonal Player Project called the Weather Monitoring System. Through the limited-time event, players investigate the cause of the recent hurricanes by gathering materials from topside and contributing to the system’s construction despite ongoing storm conditions.
The five-stage project grants gameplay items, 250 Raider Tokens, and an Anemometer Backpack Charm upon completion. It runs from February 24 through March 31, 2026, and is not affected by Expedition resets.
Firefly and Comet Confirmed as New ARC Threats

Shrouded Sky also brings two new ARC threats topside: Fireflies and Comets. Firefly is an armored flying machine that attacks from above during encounters, unleashing a jet of flame that can burn Raiders who fail to move quickly or take cover. Comet, on the other hand, poses a different threat, operating as a spherical ARC unit that patrols the surface, locks onto unsuspecting players, then detonates at close range.
More Additions Round Out February Update

Finally, several additional features round out the update, including a free Surgeon Raider Deck. Raider Decks function as battle passes, where players spend Creds (in-game currency) to unlock cosmetics and gear. The Surgeon Deck remains permanently accessible and includes rewards such as Raider Tokens, cosmetic items, and a surgeon-inspired Raider outfit available in multiple color variants.
Character customization expands with new facial hair options. Stubble is available immediately to all players, while a Full Beard can be unlocked through the Surgeon Raider Deck. The Stubble Beard and Thick Moustache will also be available in the store at launch.
Dam Battlegrounds receives a map update, revealing a newly uncovered high-security area known as the Controlled Access Zone, positioned as a high-value loot location within the map. New cosmetic bundles are also arriving, including the Volare and Devotee sets, along with additional Backpack and Raider Tool sets.

Following its initial teaser on February 17, the Hurricane map condition joins Shrouded Sky as part of ARC Raiders’ broader 2026 roadmap. Shrouded Sky marks the February entry in the early 2026 "Escalation" update cycle, which began with January’s Headwinds and continues with upcoming drops such as March’s Flashpoint and April’s Riven Tides, each bringing new map conditions, ARC threats, and additional features.
