Square Enix’s next title is Little Goody Two Shoes, a horror narrative adventure game that pays homage to the classic RPG titles of the 90s and early 2000s. Read on to find out more about the announcement.

Little Goody Two Shoes to be Primarily Released on PC and Switch
Square Enix will be publishing Little Goody Two Shoes, a game by indie developer AstralShift. It’s a game that combines the whimsicality of fairy tales, mundanity of life, and the horrors that abound Kieferberg Village. The game follows Elise, an ambitious girl determined to become filthy rich and leave her humble life.
Elise helps her neighbors do menial tasks around the village and, one day, discovers a pair of beautiful shiny ruby-red shoes buried in her backyard. She unknowingly becomes bewitched by the pair of shoes and goes on a frightening journey to face the horrors in the deep woodlands surrounding Kieferberg Village.
Aside from Elise, three other characters have been revealed–Rozenmarine, Freya, and Lebkuchen–all of whom are Elise’s closest friends. Completing the team is Rozenmarine’s loyal goat companion Flocke. It’s not yet clear if Elise will bring along her circle of friends in her journey.
A release date has not yet been announced but the team at AstralShift shares that they aim to release the game on the PC and Nintendo Switch primarily.
Little Goody Two Shoes features wonderful fairytale elements and a nostalgic 90’s-inspired look. The game’s official Twitter(X) account has teased for a number of times that witchery
might also be a central theme.
