Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass is now available in Nintendo's eshop. Read on to learn more details about the Inkopolis, Side Order, and where to buy it!
Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass Nintendo Direct Trailer
Announced during the recent Nintendo Direct, Splatoon 3 will have an Expansion Pass DLC which will come in two waves, Inkopolis and Side Order. Here’s what we know so far about the upcoming Expansion Pass.
Inkopolis
The first wave include Splatoon 1's hub world, Inkopolis, where players are able to shop at the classic stores and meet the same shop keepers alongside new ones from the first game. The weapons and gear will be the same with Splatoon 3's Splatsville, so you'll be able to pick whichever item fits your vibe! Watch out for the Squid Sisters, Callie and Marie as they will perform live in Inkopolis during Splatfests. It will launch in Spring 2023.
Side Order
Side Order, the second wave of the Expansion Pass DLC features a standing female Agent 8 in a colorless version of Splatoon 2's hub area, Inkopolis Square. The trailer didn't reveal anything specific, but we can assume that it's a new single-player mode campaign similar to Splatoon 2's Octo Expansion.
Where to Buy The Expansion Pass?
Players can buy Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass DLC on Nintendo eShop for $24.99. Youll also receive a content pack that contains bonus in-game items. To collect them, you must first purchase and download the DLC content.
