The latest game in the Zelda series is a direct sequel to Breath of the Wild, a game that has sold 29.81 million copies on its own. No doubt sales for TotK skyrocketed as avid fans of the previous iteration rushed to get the much anticipated follow up.

With it only having been three weeks released, we can only guess how many copies it has sold so far. However, the Breath of the Wild sequel seems to be continuing to ride on its hype from passionate fans of the series and from gaming fans in general.

Total monthly sales numbers are seldom put out by Nintendo themselves, but they'll often have quarterly numbers released as stockholder meetings take place.
