Knuckles, Sonic The Hedgehog Spin-off Series Cast
Starring Idris Elba and Adam Pally

The Knuckles series, produced by SEGA of America, Paramount Pictures, and Paramount+, has revealed its star-studded cast and announced the beginning of production.
Idris Elba will play Knuckles on the show, and Adam Pally will play Wade Whipple. Other cast members include Edi Patterson, Julian Barratt, Scott Mescudi, Ellie Taylor, and special guest star Rory McCann. In addition, Maddie will be played by Tika Sumpter, and the remaining cast members will be revealed in due course.
Production Team Includes Sonic The Hedgehog Director Jeff Fowler

The Sonic the Hedgehog Production Team began this month with the series. Jeff Fowler will direct the pilot episode, along with Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, John Whittington, Toru Nakahara, and Idris Elba, who serves as executive producer.
Gen Wright, Brandon Trost, Jorma Taccone, and Carol Banker are additional directors.
The series' lead writer is Whittington, who also wrote Sonic the Hedgehog 2's pilot. James Madejski and Brian Schacter are among the series writers.
Knuckles Series Release Date
Set To Premiere on December 2024

The new live-action series will follow Knuckles on a rib-tickling and thrilling journey of self-discovery as he agrees to take Wade as his protege and teach him to be an Echidna warrior. The series occurs between the 2nd and 3rd film, slated to premiere on December 20, 2024.
