Forest of Illusion Group Preserves The Sacred Text

Forest of Illusion is a group dedicated to preserving various Nintendo-related software, and they recently made an exciting announcement on Twitter.
They shared that they have successfully maintained a GBA version of The Holy Bible that was canceled. Rainbow Missions developed this particular version of the Bible and was initially intended to be published by Crave Entertainment.
2006 The Holy Bible GBA Version With Bookmark Feature and Word Search

the Holy Bible GBA version was designed to allow users to carry a small bible with them at all times, directly on their Game Boy Advance.
The game would have also included useful features such as bookmarking and word search, making it easier for users to locate specific passages in the text. Interestingly, this version of the Bible was based on the 2006 version of the World English Bible, making it one of the earliest examples of innovation aimed at helping people find time for the Bible.
It is unknown why the game was ultimately canceled, but preserving the prototype ROM by Forest of Illusion means interested parties can download and explore the game. Players can obtain the ROM from the Forest of Illusion or Wayback Machine websites. This discovery is a fascinating glimpse into video game development and how developers can use technology to spread religious messages.
