Controller Support with Haptic Feedback
Returnal's PC port is Controller-enabled. Haptic feedback and dynamic trigger effects can be felt while playing with the DualSense controller.
Accessibility settings were also expanded, including an alt-fire cross-hair charging notification with the Co-op ping mechanism.
Tower of Sisyphus Endless Mode
Once you've unlocked the Icarian Grapnel, you can enter this dungeon.
If you look up as you regain consciousness at the crash site, you can access this area and see a gate leading to the Tower of Sisyphus.
The premise of this challenge is an endless ascending gauntlet with a the focus being combat, how high you can raise your score, and how far you can advance.
Additionally, you can acquire exclusive goods, search logs, and uncover untouched portions of Selene's narrative.
Co-op Mode Enabled
You can play in co-op mode with another PC player to explore the maze of Atropos together.
Although Atropos will still be hostile toward you, working together increases your chances of survival. Each player can control a distinct version of Selene from several cycles.
The host player summons a friend or is matched with a random online player via the Chronosis gadget found in each biome. The item pool for the co-op session is determined by the host's level.
Cross-play with players using Playstation 5 consoles is not supported, and Tower of Sisyphus, House sequences, and Challenge mode are not available in Co-op Mode.
