Starsand Island Overview
Starsand Island is a cozy life-sim from developer Seed Lab. The game is scheduled for release on February 1, 2026, on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
On the titular Starsand Island, players will be creating their perfect home, filled with farm animals, produce patches, and little robot helpers. Not only that, but players will be free to explore and discover what the island has to offer, uncovering ancient ruins, fighting monsters, and meeting all sorts of characters.

Starsand Island Gameplay
Starsand Island is a slice-of-life game first and foremost, so its core gameplay loop consists primarily of building out a home. Players are offered great flexibility here, as they’ll have control over minute details when crafting their homesteads. At home, players can create their own farm and experience the tranquility of tending to their plants and livestock.
Beyond their fences, players will meet a myriad of colorful characters, each with their own story to tell. Venture further into the depths of Starsand Island, and players will discover relics of a bygone time, find bizarre creatures, and gather rare and exotic resources.
