Princess Peach: Showtime! Overview
Princess Peach: Showtime! is a 2024 action-adventure game developed by Good-Feel and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. This marks Princess Peach's first solo adventure since Super Princess Peach in 2005.
At the beginning of the game, Peach and her Toad companions arrive at the Sparkle Theater for a grand performance. However, their enjoyment is short-lived as the villainous Madame Grape and her Sour Bunch crash the party and seize control of the theater. To thwart their plans, Peach teams up with Stella, the theater's guardian to recover the ten stolen performances and prevent them from turning into disastrous tragedies.
Each level of the game is a different stage production, ranging from classic fairy tales to detective stories. As Peach navigates these side-scrolling stages, she'll need to unlock hidden items and utilize power-ups granted by the Sparkla actors. These power-ups allow her to transform into characters like Kung-fu Peach and Detective Peach, each with unique abilities to solve puzzles and overcome challenges.

Gameplay in Princess Peach: Showtime! combines platforming, puzzle-solving, and combat, with Peach gaining unique abilities through transformations. Players navigate diverse theater-themed settings, tackling challenges tailored to the environment. Each transformation—such as Swordfighter Peach, Ninja Peach, and Pâtissière Peach—introduces new mechanics, like sword duels, stealth actions, or cake decoration. These abilities are accessed via transformation platforms.
Customization is a key feature. Players can adjust difficulty by equipping the Heart Charm for extra health or opt for a challenge by playing without it. Collectibles like Sparkle Gems, earned through gameplay, allow unlocking cosmetic skins for Peach and Stella.
