Fate/EXTRA Record Overview
Fate/EXTRA Record is a remaster of the original PlayStation Portable title, Fate/EXTRA. It will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam.
Previously slated for a Spring 2026 launch window, the game's release has been delayed, following Bandai Namco's exit as its publisher. TYPE-MOON subsidiary Studio BB remains in charge of development, with details on its new publisher and release date to be announced in the future.

Fate/EXTRA Record Gameplay
Fate/EXTRA Record preserves the dungeon‑exploration gameplay and strict time‑based deadlines of its predecessor, requiring players to plan daily actions, gather intel, and collect loot before facing end‑period battles.
Combat, however, shifts away from the PSP title’s rock‑paper‑scissors system to a rotating queue of AP‑based commands that chain together into combos, with each side now taking turns separately rather than simultaneously.
Fate/EXTRA Record Characters
Hakuno Kishinami
Hakuno is a Master studying at Tsukumihara Academy, with no recollection of their past. After narrowly advancing through the preliminary selection, they became one of 128 contenders in the Moon Cell’s simulated Holy Grail War. They can choose Saber, Archer, or Caster as a Servant.
Saber (Nero Claudius)
Nero is one of Hakuno's Servants, with a Noble Phantasm called Aestus Domus Aurea. Although she was infamous for her tyranny as an emperor and her lofty self-image as an artist rivaling the gods, she was, at heart, a benevolent ruler who genuinely sought the welfare of her people.
