DAMON and BABY Overview
DAMON and BABY is an upcoming Action game by Arc System Works. It was first announced during the company’s June 2025 showcase, where Chief Creative Officer Daisuke Ishiwatari revealed their newest project and IP. According to Ishiwatari, Arc System Works has been known for its expertise in fighting games, but the company has decided to create a new pillar outside of this genre.
The game is scheduled to release in Early 2026 for PC and consoles.
DAMON and BABY Gameplay
Based on the teaser shown, DAMON and BABY appear to be an isometric action game that incorporates several other game mechanics, including puzzle-solving, platforming, and shooting, among others. Not much was showcased, but Arc System Works Chief Creative Officer Daisuke Ishiwatari emphasized it as an action game outside of the company’s well-established fighting game prominence.
