According to the game’s website, Unrecord’s story can be likened to a detective novel or thriller, where players are expected to go through complex and riveting criminal cases filled with plenty of clues and a diverse cast of characters.

Unrecord’s gameplay goes hand-in-hand with its unique bodycam perspective, which situates the player’s POV to the agent’s center of mass instead of where their eyes should be. This, in conjunction with other forms of video footage, makes for a "trompe l’oeil" experience—as the game’s developers call it—that’s truly unique to this game.

Unrecord also promises an original free-aiming system with authentic ADS (aiming down sights) and unrestricted hand movement.
