Dungeons of Hinterberg Story Plot

Hinterburg is the newest tourist attraction at the base of the Austrian Alps and its various magical dungeons beckon aspirants from far and wide. Among the intrepid adventurers trying to conquer the Dungeons of Hinterberg is our protagonist, Luisa, a burnt-out law trainee taking a break from her fast-paced corporate life. Will she be sent packing by the end of her first day, or will she be the one to stand uncontested at the end of the Dungeons of Hinterberg.

Dungeons of Hinterberg Gameplay

Dungeons of Hinterberg offers a healthy mix of traditional 3D RPG action and puzzle-solving through its combat system. Players are encouraged not only to fight but to think on their feet and use every tool at their disposal as well. Said tools include a snowboard to traverse railings and other surfaces, jelly blocks to freeze enemies inside of, and the very winds of Hinterberg itself.

This game offers a unique verticality with its action, allowing players to run, jump, climb, and grind on the environment to either get a leg up on their enemies or solve a traversal puzzle. Players can also choose to socialize at the end of each day and spend their nights with Alpine locals in various locations around Hinterburg. This is how the players learn new tricks and shortcuts to conquering the Dungeons.
