A Difficult Game About Climbing Gameplay
A Difficult Game About Climbing(ADGAC) is primarily inspired by Bennett Foddy’s Getting Over It, which featured very ‘janky’ controls that contributed to half of the game’s difficulty, where the other half were the impossible obstacles that kept becoming even more impossible. ADGAC utilizes this philosophy through rock climbing, requiring players to control two individual hands to pull or propel their entire bodies in all sorts of directions just to get to the top.
The higher you are, the harder you fall, and ADGAC carries on devastating possibilities and effects of failure that Getting Over It popularized by allowing players to fall from however high up they are back down to square one.
